Mohanānanda Dāsa Brahmacārī
Mohanananda Dasa Brahmacari
Srila Prabhupada -
On this most blessed day-
tvam paryatannarka iva trilokim
antascaro vayurivatma saksi
paravare brahmani dharmato vrataiḥ
snatasya me nyunamalam vicaksva
tvam paryatannarka iva trilokim
antascaro vayurivatma saksi
paravare brahmani dharmato vrataiḥ
snatasya me nyunamalam vicaksva
Your goodness, Srila Prabhupada, can go round everywhere in the three worlds like the sun and can penetrate into the internal region of everyone as good as the air, and as such You are as good as the all-pervasive Supersoul. Kindly therefore find out the deficiency in me although I am absorbed in transcendence under disciplinary regulations and in vow. Srila Prabhupada please accept my humble obeisances 1,000 times at Your lotus feet. I am so much indebted to You for picking me up from the darkness of ignorance. I was so much blind to the purpose of life, and this type of blindness is considered worse than death. For what is life without purpose? Simply animal sense gratification. The human body is called the ship, the spiritual master is the captain of the ship, the scriptures are the favorable breezes. Therefore let me now surrender unto Your expert guidance, O representative of Vyasadeva, for I know that this is the only way I can ever find my way across the miserable ocean of hypocrisy, death and deceit.
tvam naḥ samdarsito dhatra
dustaram nistitirsatam
kalim sattvaharam pumsam
karnadhara ivarnavam
dustaram nistitirsatam
kalim sattvaharam pumsam
karnadhara ivarnavam
We think that Your goodness is met by us by the will of providence just to accept You as the captain of the ship which desires to cross over the difficult ocean of Kali, which deteriorates all the good qualities of the human being. (Bhag. 1.1.22)
Let me take refuge at Your lotus feet eternally. Srila Prabhupada, that is Your mercy.
Your most fallen servant,
Mohanananda Dasa Brahmacari
