Kulaśekhara Dāsa Brahmacārī

Kulasekhara Dasa Brahmacari
Vyasa Pūja Homage 1970
"My dear Lord, You are the deliverer of living entities from the hellish condition of materialistic life, but that does not matter to me. Whether I am elevated to the heavenly platform, or I remain on this earthly planet, or I am dispatched to the hellish planets…that does not matter at all to me. My only prayer is that at the time of my death I may simply remember Your two beautiful feet, which are just like the lotus flower fructifying during the autumn season." (King Kulasekhara, Mukunda-mala-stotra)
This poem by King Kulasekhara is the essence of Your teaching Srila Prabhupada: to serve unalloyed with mind fixed on Krsna at every moment, in any place. Let me take this teaching into my heart as the be-all and end-all of my life. By Your grace I have gained the intelligence to realize a little of the essence of this teaching. So now it is my duty to dovetail all of my intelligence in the service of Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha and Krsna and propagate this knowledge of Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam to the fallen souls of Kali Yuga.
I am relishing Your association through the medium of Book Bhagavata daily and also chanting my rounds, serving the Deities, eating krsna-prasadam, going on sahkirtana and associating with such nice devotees here in Hamburg Temple, and I know that this is all You ask me and also these activities are most pleasing to Your Grace.
So this is my only prayer, Srila Prabhupada, let me become Krsna conscious. I have no other business or duty in this planet, or any other planet for that matter. But still, my words of praise are so dry. Just let me continue to serve You. That is all I beg.
I beg to remain Your servant,
Kulasekhara Dasa Brahmacari
