-Rohini Kumara
I offer my most worthless obeisances unto my spiritual master who has forced me to open my eyes to the torchlight of knowledge while I was lost in the darkness of ignorance.
This world, being overburdened with anxiety like a boat capsizing on stormy seas, is very much aggrieved. So you have come just to diminish the problem. I am the most sinful entity and just look upon my heart full of ignorance. For this body, which is ultimately meant for service to the Supreme Lord Krishna, has for so many years been engaged in nescience.
Oh, Guru of the Universe, you are the greatest of mystics. Please protect me because there is no one else who will save me from the clutches of Maya. I am such a great offender against the Lord and His devotees that I do not deserve your grace, and yet I am so puffed up as to ask for your causeless mercy. When this land is so fortunate to be marked with the impressions of your own lotus feet it appears more beautiful than Vrindaban. But when you have gone away it no longer seems so auspicious. Oh my master, when you live abroad I am no longer able to look upon your moon-like face with its smiles of full satisfaction. You alone can extinguish all my sufferings. I cannot exist for long without your presence, therefore I offer my repeated obeisances unto you, who have so kindly showered me with your benediction.
