Whenever I think of you Srila Prabhupad I think of how tolerant you are of so many faults and offences people commit out of their ignorance. You are mercy personified, your patience has no end, indeed, you are as tolerant as a tree. From my point of view I cannot understand such tolerance. I think you are much greater than I could ever realize. You are distributing Krishna to everyone, slicing through the clouds of maya, and you remain undisturbed, never deviating from the path of Krishna Consciousness. Due to your example, I feel so petty and foolish when I am not in Krishna Consciousness. Because of Your Grace, I pray to my mind to worship Sri Krishna. I am so intolerant, so uncontrolled, so fallen, and still you have taken the trouble to harness my mind, my tongue, my ears, to catch me in your net and pull me onto your ship. You have allowed me to struggle to become Krishna conscious. I offer my most respectful obeisances unto your Lotus Feet a thousand times. You are indeed the ocean of mercy. I pray that I never fall into the clutches of Maya and violate the great boon you have bestowed upon me. Wherever there is sunlight there is shadow (maya). As soon as you step out of sunlight, you are in shadow.
