Last autumn in a book store I did not want to leave without the beautiful pictures I saw there. But they were too expensive for my purse. For a long time afterward I wanted to return and purchase at least one of these beautiful pictures of Krishna. In that time I wanted those pictures more than anything else, not knowing how much it was Lord Krishna that I really sought.

In the winter I was feeling more spiritually attracted to a Supreme Consciousness beyond the seeming oneness of the universe revealed to me by my senses. I was searching for a definite way of knowing how to live, how to raise my son. Then, so magnificently, to my house came the spiritual master of this planet.

Now the telling, the thinking and feeling is less and less of anything but Lord Sri Krishna and His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami. Oh, here is the beginning for me-the hearing of the Supreme. Hearing from His Divine Grace is really hearing. Everything but hearing of Krishna is like noise, not great disturbance but not worth listening to unless the sound is a reminder of Krishna.

And all wonderful, His Grace has accepted me and my wife as his followers in the transcendental service of the Supreme Lord Krishna. We are so happy my wife and I. Initiation by His Divine Grace is truly a rebirth. My life before initiation now seems like a previous lifetime, almost of a different body. It is so nice. My poor telling is inadequate to describe the beauty of Krishna Consciousness.

Please, dear Prabhupad, please accept my most humble obeisances at your lotus feet. Krishna is so merciful that even I have found His pure devotee.
