Bahulāśva Dāsa

The spiritual master is to be honored as much as the Supreme Lord because of His being the mist confidential servitor of the Supreme Lord.

The spiritual master comes, out of His causeless mercy, to bring us the message of Krsna and by calling down His rain of mercy, He extinguishes the blazing fire of material desires.

In material life our hearts are always burning with desires. Our minds reeling, our senses out of control, we are being carried down the royal road to hell.

What hope is therefore such fellow souls outside the shelter of a pure devotee.

Therefore, O my Lord Sri Krsna, let me fall down at his lotus feet and with humility at heart let me be beg to be engaged in His service birth after birth. For so fortunate am I to have the association of the message carrier of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

Therefore, I offer my respectful obeisances unto my spiritual master who is a bona fide representative of Hari.
