nirudyoga gata-trapah
yada copeksita laksmya
babhuvur daitya-danavah
SYNONYMS

TRANSLATION
O King, because of being neglected by the goddess of fortune, the demons and Raksasas were depressed, bewildered and frustrated, and thus they became shameless.
