मैत्रेय उवाच
इति तस्य वचः श्रुत्वा त्रयस्ते विबुधर्षभाः ।
प्रत्याहुः श्लक्ष्णयावाचा प्रहस्य तमृषिं प्रभो ॥ २९ ॥
trayas te vibudha-rsabhah
maitreyah uvaca-the sage Maitreya said; iti-thus; tasya-his; vacah-words; srutva-after hearing; trayah te-all three; vibudha-demigods; rsabhah-chiefs; pratyahuh-replied; slaksnaya-gentle; vaca-voices; prahasya-smiling; tam-unto him; rsim-the great sage; prabho-O mighty one.
The great sage Maitreya continued: The three great deities smiled upon hearing Atri Muni speak in that way, and they replied in the following sweet words.
