Indians

And in India everybody is conscious of Krsna. Somebody... I am asked in foreign countries, "How many Krsna conscious people are there in India?" That "India... In India the cent per cent, they are Krsna conscious." Unfortunately, they have artificially covered that by the so-called blind leaders. Andha yathandhair upaniyamanah. The leaders are advising them, "What is the use of becoming Krsna conscious? Now you become technical conscious." So no, that will not make us happy. We have to become Krsna conscious, especially in India, because he has got his birth in India for developing Krsna consciousness. So we should not give up this opportunity. Not only that: we shall become fully Krsna conscious, and we shall go out, outside India, to preach Krsna consciousness movement. That is para-upakara. That is the best welfare activities in the human society. That is Caitanya Mahaprabhu's mission. Bharata-bhumite manusya-janma haila yara .    (More...)
Krsna wants this business. And Krsna's representative also says that you give up everything, simply surrender to Krsna. This is Krsna's representative. Sometimes we are very much eulogized, "I have done a wonderful thing," but I have done as representative of Krsna. Same thing. I have told all these boys and girls nothing magic. I never showed any gold-making magic. I simply said to them that "Here is Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. You surrender unto Him." That's all. Ask anything. I never said anything. So that is actually representative. Anyone can become Krsna's representative, everyone, especially Indians. They should become Krsna's representative. That is Caitanya Mahaprabhu's mission.    (More...)
Para-upakara means the whole world does not know about the message of Krsna, therefore it is the greatest welfare activities to carry this message and inform them. This is the work of Krsna's representative, and any Indian can do it. But they'll not do it. They will take Bhagavad-gita and speak their hodgepodge, that's all. That is not Krsna's representative. Therefore it has not been successful. For the last two hundred years so many svamis and yogis went to foreign countries, but nobody spoke about Krsna. Simply hodgepodge. Therefore there was not a single person accepted this cult, Vedic culture. That is practical.    (More...)
And that is the duty of the Indians, bharata-vasi. That is also Caitanya Mahaprabhu's desire.    (More...)
This Caitanya Mahaprabhu's mercy, krsna-prema distribution, is the best, topmost para-upakara, welfare activity. Therefore every Indian should take up this job, bharata-bhumite manusya-janma haila yara. So every Indian should understand the philosophy of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu or the philosophy of Krsna, Krsna consciousness, the same philosophy. Krsna says His philosophy is sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam vraja [Bg 18.66]: "Just surrender to Me. I will give you protection." And Caitanya Mahaprabhu's philosophy is the same. He is Krsna, but as He has appeared as devotee, He says, yare dekha, tare kaha 'krsna'-upadesa [Cc Madhya 7.128]: "Whomever you meet, you Indian, bharata-vasi, you just try to understand this Krsna philosophy, Bhagavad-gita, and make your life successful and go door to door and say this 'krsna'-upadesa." What is 'krsna'-upadesa? Sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam vraja. Bas. You become guru. That is Caitanya Mahaprabhu's mission.    (More...)
Caitanya Mahaprabhu has said who is guru. He asked everyone to become guru. His mission is that people are suffering all over the world for want of this Krsna consciousness, or God consciousness. That's a fact. So He is advising everyone, especially those who are born in India,    (More...)
That is His mission. He is requesting every Indian, every Indian, because they have got the facility for understanding what is Bhagavad-gita, what is Srimad-Bhagavatam, what is Vedas. They have got this opportunity. Therefore He says, janma sarthaka kari': "You have taken your birth in India. You make your life successful by taking advantage of these scriptures, and then assimilate the knowledge and preach all over the world." They are in darkness. That is being repeatedly said. But we are not taking advantage of. We are so misfortunate. We are misguided by the so-called leaders that we are neglecting this valuable literature which is spoken by Bhagavan. We are talking of some nonsense. That is our misfortune. So we have to take knowledge from Bhagavan and spread it all over the world. That is Caitanya Mahaprabhu's... So He says that "You become guru." He says, amara ajnaya guru hana [Cc Madhya 7.128]: "By My order." Don't become a so-called guru, manufactured guru. "You become guru by following My instruction." Amara ajnaya guru hana.    (More...)
That is the symptoms of guru. And Caitanya Mahaprabhu says, because we are discussing Caitanya-caritamrta, He said that you become, all of you, become guru. He said. That is Caitanya Mahaprabhu's mission. He said,    (More...)
This is Indian mission, para-upakara. Not exploit others-to give something. That is Indian mission. That is Indian mission, that he has to give something. He has nothing to take; he has to give something. And what is that? That Caitanya Mahaprabhu teaches, that amara ajnaya guru hana tara' ei desa [Cc Madhya 7.128]. Even if you cannot deliver the whole world or very expansive area, at least, wherever you are, you just deliver them. Amara ajnaya guru hana tara ei desa: "You become a guru by My order." So one may say that "I have no qualification. How can I become a guru or how can I deliver these fallen persons?" So Krsna, Caitanya Mahaprabhu, says, "Don't be disappointed."    (More...)
Bas. Simply as messenger, as peon, you simply carry the messages of Bhagavad-gita, krsna-upadesa. Then you become guru. Then you become guru. It is not difficult. So it is the duty of every Indian not to forget their culture, but bring that culture, here, wherever you are living, and behave yourself to that culture and teach others. That is Indian mission.    (More...)
So Indian life means para-upakara. They are in the darkness, others, in the darkness. They have no such culture, spiritual culture. India has got that culture, this Bhagavad-gita. So one should make his life a practically Bhagavad-gita life. That is Krsna conscious movement. And preach it to the world. That is Caitanya Mahaprabhu's order. And this order was not only... Because Caitanya Mahaprabhu happened to be a Bengali. He appeared in Nadia District, a district in Bengal. But He does not say the Bengalis; He said the bharati. Bharata-varsa janma haila yara. So it is India's mission to become exactly on the line of Bhagavad-gita. That is also spoken by Caitanya Mahaprabhu, that perfection of life means to understand Bhagavad-gita. He said, amara ajnaya guru hana tara' ei desa [Cc Madhya 7.128]:    (More...)
