parama karuna, pahuh dui jana,
nitai-gauracandra

This is a song sung by Locana dasa Thakura. Almost a contemporary of Lord Caitanya. So in his appreciation of Lord Nityananda and Lord Caitanya. He says that, "These two personalities are very merciful incarnation of God." Parama karuna-highest mercy. Pahuh dui jana, dui jana means-two personalities and Their names are Nitai and Gaura. Nitai-gauracandra. So They are the best of all incarnations. That is also admitted by Rūpa Gosvami because Krsna when He came. He preached only that He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead but He did not give Himself. He was not so much... But in His incarnation as Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu He gave Krsna. That is therefore.., Caitanya Mahaprabhu addressed by Rūpa Gosvami: namo maha-vadanyaya [Madhya 19.53]. The most munificent of all incarnations, is giving Himself.

saba avatara-, sara siromani,
kevala-ananda-kanda

And in this incarnation there is no miserable condition. He is delivering everyone simply in transcendental bliss, chanting and dancing. And giving prasadam. In other incarnation He had to take sword and this to kill to deliver the demon. In this avatara He is delivering all the demons simply by ananda-transcendental bliss. Kevala-ananda-kanda. Therefore Locana dasa Thakura advises: bhaja bhaja bhai, caitanya-nitai-you simply worship Lord Caitanya and Nityananda. Sudrḍha visvasa kori-with firm faith and your life will be successful.

With firm faith, "Oh I have taken shelter of Nityananda and Caitanya Mahaprabhu my life is now successful." And... But one thing you have to do: visaya chaḍiya se rase majiya, you have to take shelter of Nityananda prabhu and Caitanya prabhu without any material desire. Then it will not be very good. Visaya chaḍiya se rase mukhe bolo-and the means and the process is simply chanting Hare Krsna. That is.. To take shelter of Gaura-Nityananda and chant Hare Krishna mantra your life is... That is so nice. Visaya chaḍiya-don't desire any material enjoyment. Visaya chaḍiya se-simply chant Hare Krsna, take shelter. Mukhe bolo.

Dekha dekha bhai, tri-bhuvane nai, now just compare Lord Nityananda and Caitanya, these incarnations. You cannot have throughout the three worlds such merciful preacher or deliverer of the fallen souls.

Not only merciful but the greatest dispenser of charity. Dekha dekha bhai, tri-bhuvane nai, emona dayala data. And He is so merciful, what to speak of human being. Even birds and bees who hear about His sahkirtana movement, they also become melted. Pasu-pakhi jhure, pasana vidare-the hardest; hardest demon and the example is Jagai and Madhai and many demons. They became melted simply by Caitanya Mahaprabhu's mercy. Pasu-pakhi jhure, pasana vidare suni yara guna-gatha-simply by hearing the activities of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu or Nityananda prabhu. So unfortunately I am so much absorbed in material sense gratification that I cannot remember Nityananda prabhu and Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

Visaya bhuliya... Visaya majiya, rohili bhuliya-being engaged only in sense gratification I have forgotten Caitanya Mahaprabhu and Nityananda. So why? If He is so munificent, He is so merciful, a still I cannot take the advantage of it. So Locana dasa Thakura laments on our behalf. Apana karama, bhunjaye samana-I am so miss-doer, miscreant that I am forced to suffer the resultant action of my mischievous activities in the past. Apana karama, bhunjaye samana-the Yamaraja sword is forcing me. Kohoye locana-dasa-this is the statement of Locana.
