bhajibo boliya ese samsara-bhitare
bhuliya rohile tumi avidyara bhare

[You came into this world of birth and death saying 'My Lord, I will certainly worship You,' but you have forgotten this promise and remained in great ignorance.]

tomare loite ami hoinu avatara
ami bina bandhu ara ke ache tomara

[I have descended just to save you. Except for Me, who is your friend?]

enechi ausadhi maya nasibaro lagi'
hari-nama maha-mantra lao tumi magi'

[I have brought the medicine to eradicate the disease of illusion. Now pray for this Hare Krsna maha-mantra and take it.]

bhakativinoda prabhu-carane pariya
sei hari-nama-mantra loilo magiya

[Bhaktivinoda fell at the lotus feet of Lord Gaurahga, and after begging for the holy name, he received that maha-mantra.]
