Srila Prabhupada considered New Dvaraka the world headquarters of ISKCON. He spent more time in Los Angeles cumulatively than nearly any other place outside India.
He is undoubtedly pleased with the care Sri Sri Rukmini-Dvarakadisa receives. It continues to define the standards of Deity worship in ISKCON.

[20:48] [Prabhupada:] We simply follow the predecessor's instruction, that's all.
[20:58] Our movement is very easy, because we haven't got to manufacture something.
[21:07] We simply repeat the words and the instruction given by the predecessor.
[21:16] Krsna instructed Brahma, Brahma instructed Narada, Narada instructed
[21:25] Vyasadeva, Vyasadeva instructed Madhvacarya, and, in this way...
[21:34] Then Madhavendra Puri, Īsvara Puri, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, then the six Gosvamis,
[21:43] then the Srinivasa Acarya, Kaviraja Gosvami, Narottama dasa Thakura, Visvanatha Cakravarti,
[21:54] Jagannatha dasa Babaji, Bhaktivinoda Thakura, Gaurakisora dasa Babaji, Bhaktisiddhanta
[22:00] Sarasvati, and then we are doing the same thing. There is no difference.
[22:09] That is the specific procedure of the Krsna consciousness movement.
[22:18] You are singing daily,
[22:21] guru-mukha-padma-vakya, cittete koriya aikya, ar na koriho mane asa.
[22:30] Very simple thing.
[22:32] We are receiving the transcendental knowledge through guru-parampara succession.
[22:43] So we have to simply take instruction from guru,
[22:49] and if we execute that to our heart and soul, that is success.
[22:58] That is practical.
[23:03] I have no personal qualification, but I simply tried to satisfy my guru. That's all.
[23:15] My Guru Maharaja asked me that "If you get some money, you print books."
[23:24] So there was a private meeting, talking; some of my important Godbrothers also there.
[23:34] It was in Radha-kunḍa.
[23:38] So Guru Maharaja was speaking to me that
[23:43] "Since we have got this Bagh Bazar marble temple, there has been so many dissensions,
[23:57] and everyone thinking 'Who will occupy this room or that room, that room?'
[24:05] I wish, therefore, to sell this temple and the marble and print some book."
[24:14] Yes.
[24:16] So I took up this from his mouth, that he is very fond of books.
[24:22] And he told me personally that "If you get some money, print books."
[24:28] Therefore I am stressing on this point:
[24:30] "Where is book? Where is book? Where is book?" So kindly help me.
[24:36] This is my request. Print as many books in as many languages
[24:44] and distribute throughout the whole world.
[24:48] Then Krsna consciousness movement will automatically increase.
[24:55] Now the educated learned scholar, they are appreciating our movement
[25:02] by reading books, by taking practical result.
[25:09] Dr. Stillson Judah, he has written one book, perhaps you know,
[25:17] Krsna con... Hare Krishna and Counterculture, a very nice book about our movement,
[25:27] and he is giving importance.
[25:32] He has admitted that "Swamiji, you have done wonderful thing, service to the humanity."

[25:40] A man must have life to be a preacher.
[25:42] A dead man cannot preach.
[25:45] You must preach Lord Caitanya's message all throughout the world.
[25:52] And if you get money, print books. See love for Krsna unfurl.

[25:59] [Prabhupada:] They are making propaganda that "These American devotees, they are CIA."
[26:07] This propaganda is very strong in India,
[26:12] making the people against these American boys who are preaching.
[26:18] [aside:] You give him one book, that Scientific Basis of...
[26:29] Yes, you can give him one book. You read it.
[26:32] [Dharmadhyaksa:] Dr. Gerson has promised that he will read every single one of your books
[26:35] before he writes his book. He's very serious.
[26:39] [Prabhupada:] That is very kind of you. We have got about fifty books.
[26:44] [Dharmadhyaksa:] He knows.
[26:47] [Prabhupada:] And it is increasing.
[26:49] Perhaps in the next two months we shall increase another seventeen books.
[26:56] There are seventeen books pending to be published.
[26:59] [Bahulasva:] Srila Prabhupada, what these tests will show is that when a person came first he was
[27:02] doing some drugs or some nonsense, and now that he's taken to Krsna consciousness,
[27:06] he has become so much more of a healthy and wholesome person.
[27:09] [Prabhupada:] That is the test. That is the real test.
[27:14] So how we got so many devotees from the hippie group?
[27:20] So how they have given up all their bad habits? This is the real test.
[27:27] [Revatinandana:] The function of his testing is to show that, that that change takes place
[27:31] in a way that other scientists will accept it. That is his purpose.
[27:34] [Prabhupada:] Oh, that's nice. But that is already admitted by educated class.
[27:44] Therefore they are becoming attracted.
[27:47] [Dr. Gerson:] I would like to show them the path, so that they won't be cheated any longer.
[27:50] [Prabhupada:] Thank you. Provided you know the path.
[27:53] [Dr. Gerson:] I am trying to learn.
[27:54] [Prabhupada:] So first of all learn it; otherwise you will be cheating.
[28:02] If you do not know the art, and if you want to do some benefit
[28:10] to the others, then that is cheating.
[28:14] Suppose a physician, he does not know what is the medical science,
[28:18] and if he wants to become a physician, that is cheating.

[28:28] [Dr. Gerson:] I hope through the study that I'm doing with the devotees,
[28:31] and the book that comes out of it, that it will help them
[28:34] not be cheated any longer and show them the right way.
[28:39] [Prabhupada:] Yes.
[28:41] [Bahulasva:] He is advising his patients that they should chant
[28:43] Hare Krsna and come to the temple.
[28:45] [Prabhupada:] Then he is very nice. Then you are friend.
[28:48] [Dr. Gerson:] Another thing I would like to do is go to Gurukula and test the children
[28:52] and show what NBC did was very false and unfair.
[28:59] [Jayatirtha:] On television they did a very bad story on Gurukula.
[29:01] [Prabhupada:] Yes, they're..., they're cheater. He wants to cheat and get some money.
[29:06] That's all. Because the whole so-called human society is combination of
[29:14] cheater and cheated. So anyone who is acting without Krsna consciousness,
[29:22] he is a cheater.
[29:24] And anyone who is thinking himself advanced without Krsna consciousness,
[29:29] he is cheated. This is the basic principle.

[30:44] [Bahulasva:] They also say that no one can ever be pure,
[30:48] that everyone is doomed to be a sinner.
[30:50] [Prabhupada:] Well, that is... Atmavat manyate jagat.
[30:56] That is the conditioned soul's qualification,
[30:59] that if he is a fool, he thinks others fools.
[31:06] Everyone, he thinks, "He is like me."
[31:14] So that is nature.
[31:18] Atmavat manyate jagat.
[31:21] Everyone thinks others like himself.
[31:25] If he is a fool, he thinks all are.
[31:32] So these things are no argument.
[31:36] "Nobody has seen God"? How do you take these statistics?
[31:43] Can you say like that, any statistics,
[31:45] that "Nobody has..."?
[31:48] Maybe you have seen him, the one who has seen God.
[31:54] That is quite possible, because you have not scrutinisingly studied all the men of the world.
[31:59] Then how you can say "Nobody has seen Him"?
[32:01] You have not seen him, the man who has seen Him.
[32:06] He will not admit his fault.
[32:09] He will accuse others, "Nobody has seen God."
[32:13] Why? You may not have seen, but why you say nobody has seen?
[32:19] You have not seen that person who has seen God.
[32:22] Therefore you say like that.
[32:29] [Bahulasva:] So those people who wrote the Bible never..., did not see God.
[32:39] [Prabhupada:] That is... When God is canvassing, "Here I am, Krsna," they will not see it.
[32:49] And still they accuse, "Nobody has seen."

[40:17] [Prabhupada:] Translation. As the air carries different flavors of the physical elements,
[40:28] like the flavor of some flower or the aromatic dust in the flower, and on account of
[40:41] different dust, the air scents in different flavor, or accepts different color,
[40:55] similarly, everyone has got a certain type of desire.
[41:04] So according to his desire, the Lord appears to him,
[41:12] although such appearance, such form, is not His original form.
[41:24] So the demigods are actually not the original form of the Lord,
[41:33] but they are presented to different persons according to their desires.
[41:40] So Daksa, he wants to worship the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krsna.
[41:48] He is not interested with the demigods.
[41:53] Purport:
[41:56] The impersonalist, they imagine the form of the Lord as different demigods.
[42:06] Just like the Mayavadis, they worship pancopasana, five demigods.
[42:16] Actually, they do not believe in the form of the Lord,
[42:21] but for the facility of the worshiper they think one may imagine some form.
[42:29] Generally they imagine the form of Visnu, the form of Siva, the form of Ganesa,
[42:39] the form of Durga and the form of sun-god. [replays a section]
[42:56] ...the sun-god. This is called pancopasana.
[42:59] But Daksa wanted to worship not that imaginary form,
[43:07] but the supreme form of the Lord, Krsna.

[48:16] [Ramesvara:] In India, just during the Mayapur festival, he requested a loan from US BBT for $160,000,
[48:26] which would be used to construct the second residence building.

[48:39] and over a period of four or five years they would pay that money back.

[51:31] Certainly, in our day and age, many of us don't really know God.

[51:40] [Dr. Judah:] We know about God, but we do not know God. I would agree.
[51:47] [Prabhupada:] Then that is theosophist. Theosophist, they are thinking
[51:51] there is something superior. But who is that superior, they are searching out.
[51:59] The same thing: a boy, he knows, "I have a father," but "Who is my father,
[52:06] that I do not know." "Oh, that you have to ask your mother. That's all."
[52:13] Alone he cannot understand.
[52:19] So our proposition is that if you do not know God, and here is God, Krsna,
[52:25] why don't you accept Him?
[52:29] You do not know, first of all.
[52:32] And if I present, "Here is God," then why don't you accept?
[52:42] What is the answer?
[52:46] We are presenting God, "Here is God."
[52:51] [Dr. Crossley:] I suppose one of the difficulties for certainly many in the older generation

[53:12] Therefore Krsna said, sarva-dharman parityaja mam ekam saranam.

[54:32] [Prabhupada:] The name may be different. Just like in our country we say this flower something;
[54:38] you say something, something. But subject matter must be the same.
[54:47] Name is not... You can say in a different way, as you understand,
[54:54] but God is one. God cannot be two. You may give Him different names,
[55:03] that is different thing, but God is one. God cannot be two.
