Next Phase is Yours

Around April 1977 the Bombay Guest House was ready and Srila Prabhupada was to move into his room, on the fifth floor. I was in the Bombay temple at that time. We had heard that Srila Prabhupada was coming but no one actually knew when he was coming. All of a sudden we heard that Srila Prabhupada has already arrived in the temple and that he was standing near the lift. But, unfortunately the lift was not working. Everybody started running here and there, but they could not make the lift work. Srila Prabhupada was very upset. Then we arranged a palanquin for Srila Prabhupada and the devotees carried him to the fifth floor. When Srila Prabhupada finally arrived inside his room, he was very happy. He sat down in the first room, and all the devotees sat around him. His mood was now changed and he started appreciating the devotees, "You have all given your life for this mission, I thank you all." Then, he turned to me, and said, "Now the next phase is yours, science preaching. You must establish our movement as a genuine scientific movement. You must preach to all the scientists and scholars very vigorously."
