Bhaktivedānta Institute Trust

In December 1976 Rūpanuga Prabhu hosted an organizational meeting of the Institute at the Washington temple. Five of us-Rūpanuga, Madhava, Sadapūta, Ravindra-svarūpa and myself-formed the trust members of the Bhaktivedanta Institute on December 10, 1976, the auspicious disappearance day of His Divine Grace Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Goswami Prabhupada. Around the same time, I also got my permanent Visa to the US and I was getting job offers for faculty positions at different universities. However, I was now contemplating to join Srila Prabhupada full time.
