Madhva—Also known as Ānandatīrtha and Pūrṇaprajña, ācārya Ma-dhva re-established the Brahmā Sampradāya in the thirteenth century AD. He is considered to be the avatāra of Vāyu and Hanumān. A prolific writer and undefeatable in debate, he established Dvaita Vedānta in direct opposition to Śaṅkarācārya's Advaita Vedānta. Śrīla Jīva Go-svāmī acknowledged Madhva's works as an inspiration for his own writings on acintya-bheda-abheda philosophy.
