অশ্রু, পুলক, কম্প, সর্বাঙ্গে পড়ে ঘাম ॥ ২৮৭ ॥

asru, pulaka, kampa, sarvaṅge pade ghama
prema-avese-in ecstatic love; kare-does; taṅre-unto him; danda-paranama-obeisances, falling flat; asru-tears; pulaka-jubilation; kampa-trembling; sarva-aṅge-all over the body; pade-there was; ghama-perspiration.
As soon as Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu saw the brahmana, He immediately began to offer him obeisances in ecstatic love, falling flat to the ground. The symptoms of transcendental transformation were visible-namely, tears, jubilation, trembling and perspiration.
