প্রেমাবেশে করে তাঁরে দণ্ড-পরণাম ।
অশ্রু, পুলক, কম্প, সর্বাঙ্গে পড়ে ঘাম ॥ ২৮৭ ॥

asru, pulaka, kampa, sarvahge paḍe ghama

SYNONYMS

prema-avese-in ecstatic love; kare-does; tahre-unto him; danḍa-paranama-obeisances, falling flat; asru-tears; pulaka-jubilation; kampa-trembling; sarva-ahge-all over the body; paḍe-there was; ghama-perspiration.

TRANSLATION

As soon as Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu saw the brahmana, He immediately began to offer him obeisances in ecstatic love, falling flat to the ground. The symptoms of transcendental transformation were visible-namely, tears, jubilation, trembling and perspiration.
