প্রভুর গমন কূর্ম-মুখেতে শুনিঞা ।
ভূমিতে পড়িলা দুঃখে মূর্চ্ছিত হঞা ॥ ১৩৯ ॥

prabhura gamana kūrma-mukhete sunina

bhūmite paḍila duḥkhe mūrcchita hana

SYNONYMS

prabhura-of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; gamana-the going; kūrma-mukhete-from the mouth of the brahmana Kūrma; sunina-hearing; bhūmite-on the ground; paḍila-fell down; duḥkhe-in great distress; mūrcchita -unconsciousness; hana-becoming.

TRANSLATION

When the leper Vasudeva came to Kūrma's house to see Caitanya Mahaprabhu, he was informed that the Lord had already left. The leper then fell to the ground unconscious.
