eta suni' lokera mane ha-ila samsaya
'sambhave,--dhana-lobhe loka chade dharma-bhaya'
SYNONYMS
eta suni'-hearing all this; lokeraof all the people; manein the minds; ha-ilathere was; samsayadoubt; sambhavepossible; dhana-lobheby greed for money; lokasome man; chadegives up; dharma-bhayareligious principles.
TRANSLATION
Hearing all these statements, all the people gathered there became a little doubtful. They thought it quite possible that because of attraction for riches one might give up his religious principles.
