suni' bhakta-gana tanre karila stavana
veda-ajna yaiche, mata, tomara vacana
SYNONYMS
suni'-hearing this; bhakta-ganaall the devotees; tanreto her; kariladid; stavanapraying; veda-ajnaan injunction of the Vedas; yaichelike; matamy dear mother; tomara vacanayour word.
TRANSLATION
After hearing Sacimata, all the devotees offered her prayers and assured her that her order, like a Vedic injunction, could not be violated.
