গঙ্গাতীর-পথে প্রভু প্রয়াগেরে আইলা ।
তাহা শুনি' দুইভাই সে পথে চলিলা ॥ ২০৯ ॥

gaṅga-tira-pathe prabhu prayagere aila

taha suni' dui-bhai se pathe calila

SYNONYMS

gaṅga-tira-pathe-on the road on the bank of the Ganges; prabhu-Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; prayagere aila-came to Prayaga; taha suni'-hearing this news; dui-bhai-the two brothers named Rupa and Anupama; se pathe calila-traveled on that path.

TRANSLATION

When Rupa Gosvami heard that Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu had gone to Prayaga on the road along the banks of the Ganges, both Rupa and his brother Anupama went that way to meet the Lord.
