ganga-tira-pathe prabhu prayagere aila
taha suni' dui-bhai se pathe calila
SYNONYMS
ganga-tira-patheon the road on the bank of the Ganges; prabhuSri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; prayagere ailacame to Prayaga; taha suni'-hearing this news; dui-bhaithe two brothers named Rupa and Anupama; se pathe calilatraveled on that path.
TRANSLATION
When Rupa Gosvami heard that Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu had gone to Prayaga on the road along the banks of the Ganges, both Rupa and his brother Anupama went that way to meet the Lord.
