তেঁহো কহে, - "রহস্য নহে, কহি সত্যবাণী ।
ভোট লহ, তুমি দেহ' মোরে কাঁথাখানি ॥" ৮৭ ॥
teṅho kahe,-"rahasya nahe, kahi satya-vani
bhota laha, tumi deha' more kaṅtha-khani"
SYNONYMS
teṅho kahe-he said; rahasya nahe-there is no joking; kahi satya-vani-I am speaking the truth; bhota laha-take this blanket; tumi-you; deha'-give; more-to me; kaṅtha-khani-the quilt.
TRANSLATION
Sanatana said, "I am not joking; I am speaking the truth. Kindly take this blanket in exchange for your torn quilt."
