মন্বন্তরাবতার এবে শুন, সনাতন ।
অসংখ্য গণন তাঁর, শুনহ কারণ ॥ ৩১৯ ॥

manvantaravatara ebe suna, sanatana

asaṅkhya ganana taṅra, sunaha karana

SYNONYMS

manu-antara-avatara-the Manu incarnations; ebe-now; suna-hear; sanatana-O Sanatana Gosvami; asaṅkhya-unlimited; ganana-counting; taṅra-of them; sunaha-just hear; karana-the cause.

TRANSLATION

"O Sanatana, just hear about the Manu incarnations [manvantara-avataras]. They are unlimited, and no one can count them. Just hear of their source.
