সেই ভূঞার সঙ্গে হয় হাতগণিতা ।
ভূঞার কাণে কহে সেই জানি' এই কথা ॥ ১৮ ॥

sei bhunara saṅge haya hata-ganita

bhunara kane kahe sei jani' ei katha

SYNONYMS

sei bhunara-the landlord; saṅge-with; haya-there is; hata-ganita-an expert in palmistry; bhunara-of the landlord; kane-in the ear; kahe-says; sei-that man; jani'-knowing; ei katha-this statement.

TRANSLATION

A man who was expert in palmistry was at that time staying with the landlord. Knowing about Sanatana, he whispered the following in the landlord's ear.
