dui-guccha trna dunhe dasane dhariya
prabhu dekhi' dure pade dandavat hana
SYNONYMS
dui-gucchatwo bunches; trnastraw; dunheboth of them; dasane dhariyaholding in the teeth; prabhu dekhi'-seeing the Lord; durein a distant place; padefell down; danda-vatlike rods; hanabecoming.
TRANSLATION
Seeing the Lord from a distance, the two brothers put two clumps of straw between their teeth and immediately fell down on the ground like rods, offering Him obeisances.
