নিকটে যমুনা বহে শীতল সমীর ।
বৃন্দাবন-শোভা দেখে যমুনার নীর ॥ ৭৭ ॥

nikate yamuna vahe sitala samira

vrndavana-sobha dekhe yamunara nira

SYNONYMS

nikate-near the Teṅtuli-tala, or Amli-tala; yamuna-the Yamuna; vahe-flows; sitala samira-very cool breeze; vrndavana-sobha-the beauty of Vrndavana; dekhe-sees; yamunara-of the River Yamuna; nira-water.

TRANSLATION

Since the River Yamuna flowed near Teṅtuli-tala, a very cool breeze blew there. While there, the Lord saw the beauty of Vrndavana and the water of the River Yamuna.
