mleccha-desa, keha kahan karaye utpata
bhattacarya--pandita, kahite na janena vat
SYNONYMS
mleccha-desa—this is a country occupied by the Mohammedans; keha—anyone; kahan—anywhere; karaye utpata—can create a disturbance; bhattacaryaBalabhadra Bhattacarya; pandita—learned scholar; kahite—to speak; na janena—does not know; vat—language.
TRANSLATION
"This country is mainly occupied by Mohammedans. At any place someone can create a disturbance, and although Your companion Balabhadra Bhattacarya is a learned scholar, he does not know how to speak the local language."
