পাঠান কহে, - তুমি পশ্চিমা মাথুর দুইজন ।
'গৌড়িয়া' ঠক্ এই কাঁপে দুইজন ॥ ১৭২ ॥

pathana kahe,-tumi pascima mathura dui-jana

'gaudiya' thak ei kaṅpe dui-jana

SYNONYMS

pathana kahe-the soldiers said; tumi-you; pascima-western Indians; mathura-belonging to the district of Mathura; dui-jana-two of you; gaudiya-Bengalis; thak-rogues; ei-these; kaṅpe-are trembling; dui-jana-two persons.

TRANSLATION

The Pathana soldiers said, "You are all rogues. Two of you belong to the district of Mathura, and the other two, who are trembling, belong to Bengal."
