mathura yaibara chale asena jharikhanda
bhilla-praya loka tahan parama-pasanda
mathura—to Mathura; yaibara—of going; chale—on the pretext; asena—came; jharikhanda—to Jharikhanda; bhilla-praya—like the Bheels, a kind of low people; loka—people; tahan—there; parama-pasanda—without God consciousness.
When Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu came to Jharikhanda on His way to Mathura, He found that the people there were almost uncivilized and were devoid of God consciousness.
