sarvabhauma-grhe bhunjan
sva-nindakam amoghakam
angikurvan sphutam cakre
gaurah svam bhakta-vasyatam
SYNONYMS
sarvabhauma-grhe—at the house of Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya; bhunjan—while eating; sva-nindakam—a person who was criticizing Him; amoghakam—named Amogha; angikurvan—accepting; sphutam—manifested; cakre—made; gaurah—Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; svam—His; bhakta-vasyatam—obligation to His devotees.
TRANSLATION
While Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu was accepting prasada at the house of Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya, Amogha criticized Him. At that time the Lord also showed how much He was obliged to His devotees.
