purve satyabhamara suni evam-vidha mana
vraje gopi-ganera mana-rasera nidhana
SYNONYMS
purvepreviously; satyabhamaraof Queen Satyabhama; suniI hear; evam-vidha manathis kind of egoistic pride; vrajein Vrndavana; gopi-ganeraof the gopis; manapride; rasera nidhanathe reservoir of all humorous mellows.
TRANSLATION
"I have heard of this kind of pride in Satyabhama, Krsna's proudest Queen, and I have also heard of it in the gopis of Vrndavana, who are the reservoirs of all transcendental mellows.
