tuccha seva kare vasi' raja-simhasane
SYNONYMS
candana-jaletewith sandalwood water; karedoes; patharoad; nisecanesprinkling; tucchainsignificant, menial; sevaservice; kareperforms; vasi'-although in possession of; raja-simhasanethe royal throne.
TRANSLATION
The King sprinkled the road with sandalwood-scented water. Although he was the owner of the royal throne, he engaged in menial service for the sake of Lord Jagannatha.
