prabhu na khaile keha na kare bhojana
urdhva-haste vasi' rahe sarva bhakta-gana
SYNONYMS
prabhuSri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; na khailewithout eating; kehaanyone; nanot; karedoes; bhojanaeating; urdhva-hasteraising the hand; vasi'sitting; raheremain; sarvaall; bhakta-ganadevotees.
TRANSLATION
All the devotees kept their hands raised over the prasada distributed to them, for they did not want to eat without seeing the Lord eat first.
