নিভৃতে টোটা-মধ্যে স্থান যদি পাঙ ।
তাহাঁ পড়ি' রহো, একলে কাল গোঙাঙ ॥ ১৬৬ ॥

nibhrte tota-madhye sthana yadi paṅa

tahaṅ padi' raho, ekale kala goṅaṅa

SYNONYMS

nibhrte-in a solitary place; tota-madhye-within the gardens; sthana-place; yadi-if; paṅa-I get; tahaṅ-there; padi' raho-I shall stay; ekale-alone; kala-time; goṅaṅa-I shall pass.

TRANSLATION

Haridasa Thakura then expressed his desire: "If I could just get to a solitary place near the temple, I could stay there alone and pass my time.
