রায় প্রণতি কৈল, প্রভু কৈল আলিঙ্গন ।
দুই জনে প্রেমাবেশে করেন ক্রন্দন ॥ ১৬ ॥

raya pranati kaila, prabhu kaila aliṅgana

dui jane premavese karena krandana

SYNONYMS

raya pranati kaila-Ramananda Raya offered his obeisances; prabhu-the Lord; kaila-did; aliṅgana-embracing; dui jane-both of them; prema-avese-in ecstatic love; karena-did; krandana-crying.

TRANSLATION

Upon meeting Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, Ramananda Raya offered his obeisances. The Lord embraced him, and both of them began to cry in the great ecstasy of love.
