তুমি - গৌরবর্ণ, তেঁহ - শ্যামলবরণ ।
দুই ব্রহ্মে কৈল সব জগৎ-তারণ ॥ ১৬৪ ॥

tumi-gaura-varna, teṅha-syamala-varna

dui brahme kaila saba jagat-tarana

SYNONYMS

tumi-You; gaura-varna-having a golden or fair complexion; teṅha-He; syamala-varna-having a blackish complexion; dui brahme-both Brahmans; kaila-performed; saba jagat-of the whole world; tarana-deliverance.

TRANSLATION

"Of the two Brahmans, You are fair complexioned, and the other, Lord Jagannatha, is blackish. However, both of You are delivering the whole world."
