ataeva yahan yahan dei adhikara
khaya, piye, lute, vilaya, na karon vicara
SYNONYMS
ataevatherefore; yahan yahanwherever; dei adhikaraI appoint them; khayathey eat; piyedrink; luteplunder; vilayadistribute; na karon vicaraI do not consider.
TRANSLATION
"Therefore I have appointed them collectors in various places, and although they spend the government's money, eat, drink, plunder and distribute it as they like, I do not take them very seriously.
