পৃথিবীতে রোপণ করি' গেলা প্রেমাঙ্কুর ।
সেই প্রেমাঙ্কুরের বৃক্ষ - চৈতন্যঠাকুর ॥ ৩৬ ॥

prthivite ropana kari' gela premaṅkura

sei premaṅkurera vrksa-caitanya-thakura

SYNONYMS

prthivite-within this material world; ropana kari'-sowing; gela-went; prema-aṅkura-the seed of ecstatic love for Krsna; sei prema-aṅkurera-of that seed of ecstatic love for Krsna; vrksa-the tree; caitanya-thakura-Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

TRANSLATION

Madhavendra Puri sowed the seed of ecstatic love for Krsna within this material world and then departed. That seed later became a great tree in the form of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.
