পতির আজ্ঞা, - নিরন্তর তাঁর নাম লইতে ।
পতির আজ্ঞা পতিব্রতা না পারে লঙ্ঘিতে ॥ ১০৭ ॥

patira ajna,-nirantara taṅra nama la-ite

patira ajna pati-vrata na pare laṅghite

SYNONYMS

patira ajna-the husband's order; nirantara-always; taṅra-His; nama-name; la-ite-to chant; patira ajna-the order of the husband; pati-vrata-a chaste, devoted wife; na pare laṅghite-cannot deny.

TRANSLATION

"The order of Krsna is to chant His name incessantly. Therefore one who is chaste and adherent to the husband Krsna must chant the Lord's name, for she cannot deny the husband's order.
