'mahotsava'-nama suni' brahmana-sajjana
asite lagila loka asankhya-ganana
SYNONYMS
mahotsavafestival; namaname; sunihearing; brahmana-sat-janabrahmanas and other gentlemen; asite lagilabegan to pour in; lokapeople; asankhya-gananain numerable.
TRANSLATION
As soon as they heard that a festival was going to be held, all kinds of brahmanas and other gentlemen began to arrive. Thus there were innumerable people.
