deha-tyagadi tamo-dharma--pataka-karana
sadhaka na paya tate krsnera carana
SYNONYMS
deha-tyagagiving up the material body by suicide; adibeginning with; tamah-dharmaon the platform of the mode of ignorance; pataka-karanacause of sinful activities; sadhakathe devotee; na payadoes not get; tateby that; krsnera caranathe lotus feet of Krsna.
TRANSLATION
"Measures like suicide are causes for sin. A devotee never achieves shelter at Krsna's lotus feet by such actions.
