suni' sabha-sad uthe kari' hahakara
majumadara sei vipre karila dhikkara
SYNONYMS
suni'-hearing; sabha-satall the members of the assembly; uthegot up; kari' haha-karamaking a tumultuous sound; majumadaraHiranya and Govardhana Majumadara; sei vipreunto that brahmana who was their servant; karilamade; dhik-karachastisement.
TRANSLATION
All the members of the assembly who had heard the challenge were greatly agitated, and they got up, making a tumultuous sound. Hiranya and Govardhana Majumadara both immediately chastised the brahmana tax collector.
