bhakte sikhaite yei siksastaka kahila
sei slokastakera artha punah asvadila
SYNONYMS
bhaktethe devotees; sikhaiteto teach; yeithat which; siksa-astakaeight instructions; kahiladescribed; sei sloka-astakeraof the same eight verses; arthathe meaning; punah asvadilaagain He tasted.
TRANSLATION
Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu composed those eight stanzas to instruct the devotees, but He also personally tasted their meaning.
