সপ্তদশে - গাভী-মধ্যে প্রভুর পতন ।
কূর্মাকার-অনুভাবের তাহাঁই উদ্গম ॥ ১৩১ ॥

saptadase-gabhi-madhye prabhura patana

kurmakara-anubhavera tahaṅi udgama

SYNONYMS

saptadase-in the Seventeenth Chapter; gabhi-madhye-among the cows; prabhura patana-the falling down of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; kurma-akara-anubhavera-of ecstatic emotion in the form of a tortoise; tahaṅi-there; udgama-awakening.

TRANSLATION

In the Seventeenth Chapter, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu fell among the cows and assumed the form of a tortoise as His ecstatic emotions awakened.
