তবে প্রভু তাঁরে আজ্ঞা কৈলা গৌড়ে যাইতে ।
"ভক্তগণে নিষেধিহ এথাকে আসিতে ॥ ৪০ ॥
tabe prabhu taṅre ajna kaila gaude yaite
"bhakta-gane nisedhiha ethake asite
tabe-then; prabhu-Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; taṅre-unto him; ajna kaila-ordered; gaude yaite-returning to Bengal; bhakta-gane-the devotees; nisedhiha-forbid; ethake asite-to come to this place.
When he was about to return to Bengal, the Lord told him, "Forbid the devotees of Bengal to come to Jagannatha Puri this year.
