বিশ্বাস করিয়া শুন চৈতন্যচরিত ।
তর্ক না করিহ, তর্কে হবে বিপরীত ॥ ১৭১ ॥

visvasa kariya suna caitanya-carita

tarka na kariha, tarke habe viparita

SYNONYMS

visvasa kariya-with faith and confidence; suna-just hear; caitanya-carita-the pastimes of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; tarka na kariha-do not uselessly argue; tarke-by argument; habe viparita-will get the opposite result.

TRANSLATION

Please hear the pastimes of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu with faith and confidence. Do not argue, for arguments will produce a contrary result.
