তোমার সেবা ছাড়ি' আমি করিলুঁ সন্ন্যাস ।
'বাউল' হঞা আমি কৈলুঁ ধর্মনাশ ॥ ৯ ॥

tomara seva chadi' ami kariluṅ sannyasa

'baula' hana ami kailuṅ dharma-nasa

SYNONYMS

tomara seva chadi'-giving up your service; ami-I; kariluṅ-accepted; sannyasa-the renounced order of life; baula hana-becoming mad; ami-I; kailuṅ-did; dharma-nasa-destruction of religion.

TRANSLATION

" 'I have given up service to you and have accepted the vow of sannyasa. I have thus become mad and have destroyed the principles of religion.
