mala parana prasada dila prabhura hate
asvada dure rahu, yara gandhe mana mate
SYNONYMS
mala paranaafter garlanding; prasadathe remnants of Lord Jagannatha's food; diladelivered; prabhura hatein the hand of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; asvadatasting; dure rahuwhat to speak of; yaraof which; gandheby the aroma; manamind; matebecomes maddened.
TRANSLATION
The servants of Lord Jagannatha first garlanded Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and then offered Him Lord Jagannatha's prasada. The prasada was so nice that its aroma alone, to say nothing of its taste, would drive the mind mad.
