prabhu kahe,--"govinda, aji rakhila jivana
stri-parasa haile amara ha-ita marana
SYNONYMS
prabhu kaheLord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu said; govindaMy dear Govinda; ajitoday; rakhila jivanayou saved My life; stri-parasa haileif I had touched a woman; amaraMy; ha-itathere would have been; maranadeath.
TRANSLATION
"My dear Govinda," He said, "you have saved My life. If I had touched the body of a woman, I would certainly have died.
