অঙ্গে কাঁটা লাগিল, কিছু না জানিলা ! আস্তে-ব্যস্তে গোবিন্দ তাঁর পাছেতে ধাইলা ॥ ৮২ ॥

aṅge kaṅta lagila, kichu na janila!

aste-vyaste govinda taṅra pachete dhaila

SYNONYMS

aṅge-on the body; kaṅta-thorns; lagila-touched; kichu-anything; na janila-did not perceive; aste-vyaste-very hastily; govinda-His personal servant; taṅra-Him; pachete-behind; dhaila-ran.

TRANSLATION

Govinda ran very quickly behind the Lord, who did not feel any pain from the pricking of the thorns.
