purve—formerly; jagadanandera—of Jagadananda Pandita; iccha—desire; vrndavana yaite—to go to Vrndavana; prabhu—Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; ajna—permission; na dena—did not give; tanre—to him; na pare calite—he could not go.
Formerly, when Jagadananda Pandita had desired to go to Vrndavana, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu had not given His permission, and therefore he could not go.
